In 2009, what began as a mother’s simple act of love became something much more.

When Sandi Hendry created the very first adult-size Minky blanket to comfort her daughter, she wasn’t starting a company — she was creating a feeling. A feeling of warmth, reassurance, and being wrapped in care during life’s hardest moments.

From that single blanket, Minky Couture was born.

Today, we are best known for our beloved Original Hugs Blanket and our beautifully designed, luxuriously soft collections that turn everyday moments into something special. Whether it’s a quiet morning, an evening on the couch, or a gift for someone you love, our blankets are made to feel like an embrace.

But comfort isn’t just what we make — it’s who we are.
